I PURSUE beauty, excellence and service beyond client expectations while keeping projects grounded in the realities of available time, resources & budget. By the grace of life forces beyond me, I am inspired and renewed weekly to design lovely and user friendly spaces for friends, family, neighbors and clients!

CREATIVE & AFFORDABLE DESIGN is easily brought to life using LOCAL craftsmen, vendors & talent. I patronize ETSY artists or seek out remarkable "world culture" products like the incredibly beautiful baskets made by the farmers in the Bolgatanga region of northern Ghana. PRODUCTS, SOURCES and CUSTOM built items can be from anywhere and everywhere...an online auction to a local thrift store...it’s all grist to evolve a space as unique as you are.
UNTOLD TIME & effort have been invested in a repeat TEAM of skilled craftsman, vendors, workmen, tradespeople and artists I trust. Our work is based on happy clients. Every home is as important to us as if it was our own home or family member.
I ENJOY this work though creative work always requires many, many more hours than anybody is willing to admit. I spend time beyond the normal work week since week-ends are when people have more planning time. Professional work will always be filtered through accurate space planning standards, artistic aesthetics, ergonomic dimensions, energy concerns, aging in place standards, "well care" options as well as checked against real estate values, construction codes, building requirements as well as the client's goals. Good end results = Good planning!
DESIGN INSPIRATION is everywhere! It can be from a faraway place experienced on a vacation or trip or be as close as a neighborhood estate sale, Saturday Farmer's Market, specialty retailer around the corner or even in your grandparent’s attic! It’s all an adventure & this mind-set can lead to unexpected, funny and thrilling results.
